I'm a member but I'm not receiving emails - how can I ensure I don't miss out?
The most common reasons for this are that you either don't have your email address tied to your account or you have inadvertently opted out of emails.  Please do the following:

- Login to your account at our home page
- In the upper right corner, click your name and select Profile
- When in Profile, click Basic Member Information and check that the email address matches the one you'd like to use for receiving our emails
- Next, under More Member Options, click on Privacy/Cancel/Remove and complete the steps in the next 2 bullets below
- Ensure first that you have agreed to receive our emails
- Next, check under Terms of Use And Privacy that you have selected "Yes, I want to receive these emails"

If you're still not receiving our messages, please double check your spam filter to ensure your email provider is not categorizing our messages as spam.

If you have performed all these steps and still aren't receiving our messages, please reach out to us using our email form and we will work with you to troubleshoot!


Do you have to live in Woodley Gardens to join?
Nope! We welcome members from any of the surrounding and nearby Rockville neighborhoods. Check out our membership info for category and fee information.
When is the pool opening and what are the hours?
The pool will be open for the 2024 summer season beginning Saturday, May 25 through Monday, September 2. Pool hours are as follows:
  • Monday-Thursday
    • 3pm-8pm (May 25-June 16 and August 25-September 2)
    • 11am-8pm (remainder of the summer)
  • Friday
    • 3pm-9pm (May 25-June 16 and August 25-September 2)
    • 11am-9pm remainder of the summer)
  • Saturday: 10am-9pm
  • Sunday: 10am-8pm
Special holiday hours for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day:
  • Memorial Day (May 27): 10am to 9pm
  • Independence Day (July 4): 10am to 6pm
  • Labor Day (September 4): 10am to 9pm
Note, the pool will be closed for general use for swim meets on select Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings during the season.  We will advise members of these and any other special events that may affect hours by posting on the calendar on our home page.
Can you tell me about the Woodley Gardens Swim Team?
Sure! The Waves have called Woodley Gardens Pool home for more than six decades. This competitive MCSL Division F team is welcoming to all swimmers and has the most and best team spirit around. Learn more at www.woodleywaves.org.  You must be a member of Woodley Gardens Pool to enroll your children with Woodley Gardens Swim Team.
What amenities do you have for young families and babies?
The Woodley Gardens Pool has a dedicated, fenced baby pool for our youngest members. Swimming lessons will be available for children with varying proficiency. Sage parenting advice is also free.
What is included in a family membership?

The Family membership is intended to include up to two parents plus their legally dependent children.  We love when aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, friends, etc join you at the pool, but these individuals must either have their own Woodley Gardens Pool membership or purchase a guest pass.

Who may purchase a couples membership?

A couples membership may be purchased for any two individuals, at least one of whom must be age 18 or older.  This includes a single parent + one child.

Can I just purchase a single membership for my child or children if I don't intend to use the pool?

Single memberships can be purchased by (or for) anyone 18 or older.  We are not able to contract with minors so unfortunately cannot accept single memberships for anyone under 18, even if purchased by someone over 18.  Please consider a family membership instead and feel free to bring the whole family.  Even if you don't like getting wet, there's plenty of fun and relaxation outside of the water!

Who may purchase a senior membership?

Reduced rate senior memberships are available for couples and singles.  To qualify, at least one individual under the membership must be age 65+.

I support the Woodley Gardens Pool, how can I help?
First and foremost, become a member. Help us spread the good news about the Pool by telling your neighbors and friends. You can also help defray the operating costs WGCSRA will incur in running the pool this summer by donating.
How do I arrange a deck rental?
The elevated pool deck can be rented by members for private parties of up to 35 guests (which may include members and non-members) at a rate of $210 for 2 hours.  Pool management may limit deck rentals on dates on which large crowds are expected.  To arrange a rental, please contact Heather Welter using the email address on our membership page.
